ASTROPAD
design challenge
I was tasked to make three illustrations that brought hype and energy to the Astropad Back To School Campaign.
Each image had to embody a separate email for their newsletter, each of which highlighted a feature of their Rock Paper Pencil Product.

"Old school note-taking.
New-school tech.
"Taking notes used to mean scribbling in a spiral notebook, not typing out text like a court stenographer. Rock Paper Pencil adds that same feeling to your iPad by combining a reusable, paper-feel screen protector with a precision, ballpoint Apple Pencil tip."

"How you take notes matters."
"Typing is fast, but your brain treats it like background noise. You copy things down, but you don’t engage with them... When you write by hand, your brain processes more deeply. You remember more, and you think more clearly."

"Make your iPad feel like paper"
"How can you combine the benefits of digital note-taking and the tactile feel of pen on paper?
Recreate the feel of writing on paper by adding just the right amount of resistance and feedback. The result? A smoother, more controlled writing experience."
